I have tried all your standard solutions prior to this note and none of them have worked. Your assessment of nothing is correct. There is no error message and nothing is downloaded. To download eset I did the download procedure on ie and nothing happened after 2 minutes.

I did the same procedure on firefox and was successful within seconds. I'm an IT programmer so I recognize this as a problem isolated to ie There are other blogs out there with tabs problems and I believe the people in trouble are not noticing other things because they are not trying to download so are not seeing these problems.

In the meantime I'm having no problems with firefox and I can function until Microsoft finds and fixes this problem. Please let me know when a patch is available.
